EXO-ANTIGEN IDENTIFICATION SYSTEMS

Exo-Antigen or immunoidentification of Histoplasma capsulatum, Blastomyces dermatitidis and Coccidioides immitis is a simple, cost effective method of identifying or confirming the suspected identity of these organisms, even in the absence of typical morphology. A special buffer is provided which extracts antigens from both the hyphal mass and from the surrounding culture medium, thus increasing the sensitivity of the system.

PRODUCT NUMBER DESCRIPTION PACKAGING
EX1001 Antigens of Blastomyces, Coccidioides and Histoplasma are found in the colonies of the organisms and diffused into the medium on which they were grown. These antigens are eluted from the medium and the antigens are demonstrated in an immunodiffusion test using reference antigens and control sera. 20 Culture Isolates
